Using the site and your account
These Terms govern your use of Card Collector DB, operated by David Bowles. Public catalog browsing is available without an account; managing a personal collection requires account access. By using the site, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 may not create an account. Provide accurate account information, protect your password and authentication factors, and contact support@cardcollectordb.com if you suspect unauthorized account access.
Acceptable use
Use the catalog and collection tools for their intended purposes. Do not seek unauthorized access, interfere with the site or other members, impersonate someone else, submit unlawful or deceptive content, spread malware or spam, overload or scrape the service, or submit material you lack the right to share. We may review submissions and restrict abusive activity.
Your collection information
Your personal collection entries remain your information. The site helps you organize them; it is not an appraisal, proof of ownership or authenticity, or a guarantee of value. Check records you rely on and keep your own copies. Managing your collection and downloading a CSV copy of your collection data will remain free.
Shared catalog contributions
If you submit catalog facts, corrections, source material, import content, or images, you are responsible for having the right to submit them and for avoiding unnecessary personal information. You give David Bowles permission to store, review, edit, display, and use approved submissions to operate and improve the shared catalog. A submission may be declined, corrected, or removed. Approved catalog material may remain after an account closes; where reasonably possible, contributor identity should be detached or anonymized, subject to security, legal, and operational needs.
Third-party rights and links
Card names, images, teams, trademarks, and other third-party material belong to their respective owners. Listing a collectible does not mean its owner sponsors or endorses Card Collector DB. eBay links lead to an external site and may include affiliate parameters. Card Collector DB does not conduct the resulting transaction or guarantee external listings, prices, products, or policies.
Beta and future subscriptions
Card Collector DB is in beta. All site features are free during beta. Billing and subscription purchases are not currently available.
When subscriptions are introduced, accounts created during beta will receive 45 days of premium access at no charge beginning when the subscription model is implemented. After that period, designated premium features may require a subscription. Collection management and downloading a CSV copy of your collection data will remain free. Pricing and premium-feature assignments will be explained before subscriptions begin. Subscription levels may be added later without eliminating existing levels.
Availability and corrections
Beta features and catalog information may be incomplete, change, or contain errors. We may correct information, modify features, or interrupt access for maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
Suspension and account closure
We may restrict or suspend access for security concerns, misuse, unlawful activity, or material violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law. Self-service account deletion is not currently available. To request account closure or deletion, email privacy@cardcollectordb.com; we may need to verify your identity. Approved catalog contributions and records needed for legal, security, or operational purposes may require separate treatment, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Card Collector DB is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of catalog accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, David Bowles is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law and venue
Texas law governs these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Subject to rights that cannot lawfully be waived, disputes relating to these Terms must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts serving Bexar County, Texas. These Terms do not require arbitration.
Changes and contact
